Growth Notes

I’ve had many things occur in the past many days.

Since early November, I’ve been feeling a massive vibe shift in the air. A positive vibe shift. A monumental one.

The years ahead are going to look better, and more different, than ever before.

And no, I’m not just saying all of this with a jolt of inspiration now that I’m a first-time uncle as of 11:55 PM on Saturday, 12/7.

Yet, in this moment, I want to write something for all of you.

I’m feeling a short, public journal entry.

My private notes have all my day by day thoughts and life documentation.

But here, right now, it’s my moment to log what I’ve been thinking regarding giving — because the best things in life come from outside yourself.

So, here are my current thoughts on being of service to others:

Trees grow but from a seed

live for some seasons,

fall for some seasons,

from a dead, shed leaf comes the sprout of an alive, new tree.

Babies grow but from the size of a seed

people are living in this world,

elderly are dying in this world,

from one generation is birthed the generation of another.

Relationships grow but from the seedling of curiosity

trial for some seasons,

triumph for other seasons,

from one ebb comes a flow, growing together slow by slow.

The goal in life is to give, give, give.

And those who truly know how to give, and to love,

never get tired of it, and will do it until their last breath draws them close.

This is why he is a winner.
