This is the first Friday Foursight newsletter of 2024.
To all who are reading this, thank you for joining me for my first 8 newsletters to end 2023. Thank you for your continually presence, support, and engagement. I look forward to sending you 52 more newsletters in 2024.
I’m truly enjoying the opportunity to lean into my writing more and more. That enjoyment of the process makes me confident to say that I’ll definitely be committed to writing for the rest of my life — for as long as God allows me to live on this earth.
As I think about a word to encapsulate the year ahead, the first word that comes to mind is “reinforcement”.
Reinforcement defined is:
“the action or process of reinforcing or strengthening.”
“the process of encouraging or establishing a belief or pattern of behavior, especially by encouragement or reward.”
“extra personnel sent to increase the strength of an army or similar force.”
I want to reinforce my habits that positively serve me towards becoming the man I am aiming to be / God wants me to be.
On the other hand, I want to eliminate those habits that don’t serve that mission.
