Question For You

Growth Notes

Hello,

I’m writing to you from Austin, TX. The past 3 years of living here has given me a grand appreciation for this place. I deeply enjoy the presence of Texas.

The heat causes an instant sweat, the lands are big, and the people are more welcoming than an East Coast person may think.

On this scorching summer Friday, I visited a 45 acre ranch. It was a special experience because it wasn’t an average ranch. It has a unique vision that is actively being built into a regenerative agriculture, community-driven, tribal land.

It’s a beautiful thing to participate in the flow of nature by harvesting the land for resources. With our own two hands, we can dig into the soil, grow crops, foster animals + insects, and nurture wildlife.

Farming and community building isn’t easy. It’s humbling. But I admire those who are doing it.

One day, when the time is exactly right, I will be a man living off my large land. I will be farming and building community.

I’ve come to realize something of the utmost importance: everything serves a purpose in this life — whether it lives or dies: animals, insects, plants, water, and humans.

Cultivating from the land is just another representation of God’s grand design: for life to spring it must first die… and for death to occur it must first live.

All how God intended it to be.

God bless,

Anthony

“If you want to build a ship, don’t drum up people to collect wood and don’t assign them tasks and work, but rather teach them to long for the endless immensity of the sea.” — Antoine de Saint-Exupery

"The sea does not reward those who are too anxious, too greedy, or too impatient. To dig for treasures shows not only impatience and greed, but lack of faith. Patience, patience, patience, is what the sea teaches. Patience and faith. One should lie empty, open, choice-less as a beach - waiting for a gift from the sea." — Antoine de Saint-Exupery

"I have learned that if one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet success unexpected in common hours." — Antoine de Saint-Exupery

"Love does not consist in gazing at each other, but in looking outward together in the same direction." — Antoine de Saint-Exupery

“Now is no time to think of what you do not have. Think of what you can do with what there is.” — The Old Man and the Sea by Ernest Hemingway

Adrian has a special vision for his massive land. In building out his dream, he is inviting others to witness it, as well. That is why he is using his film and directing expertise to document his experiences.

You will learn a lot about agriculture and life from his Earth Speed Documentary Series.

GSP is an impressive fighter. He has been commemorated as a legend in the UFC world.

Yet, for me, it’s his mindset that captives my attention.

Also: he kind of looks like me.
