Question For You
Growth Notes
It’s been a weekend of travel, family time, and focus — as I went to the East Coast to visit family.
Even though Friday has past, I sit here and write to you with a reservoir of updates.
Before we do that, let’s re-establish what this section, Growth Notes, is all about.
Growth Notes encapsulates my observations on the world as I venture through my personal growth journey. I want to give you updates on my life, so you can benefit from what I learn along the way.
I always do annual reviews about my entire year, so weekly growth notes allows for a microscopic weekly look at my life (hence my Friday Foursight logo), which eventually funnels into those year-end reviews.
So, let’s answer a question together: how have I grown this past week?
One thing was reinforced to me: the importance of giving and forgiving. Isn’t it interesting that giving and forgiving include the same words? Both have the root synonym of the word sacrifice — which is a fabric to our individual lives.
Another thing that I’ve put into practice more and more is breaking down complex tasks in order to have a plan that allows me to consistently chip away towards the end aim. How can you conquer something if you don’t know what it is you’re conquering? Half the battle to any problem is identifying the problem, and devising a plan to fix it. The other half is taking action on the decided plan.
Most of people’s “problems” would disintegrate by utilizing this approach.
That’s all for now folks.
Always here if you need anything,
Anthony

Imagine what you can do with hundreds of acres of land. Now imagine what you can do on 1/10th of an acre.
Although it’s less size, you will be surprised as to what can be achieved on 1/10th of an acre.
Leonardo da Vinci believed that the human body is a scale model of Earth.
For example, while dissecting the human body, he noticed that branching blood vessels were like tributaries flowing into rivers... and the expansion and contraction of breathing mirrored the ebb and flow of ocean tides.
The linked post HERE has many more interesting thoughts where that came from.
I get a jolt of inspiration when watching the highlights from one of my favorite football players of all time: Walter Payton.
He was a specimen of an athlete, and it showed with his on-field abilities.
Amazing thing too: he was as good of a man off the field as he was on the field.
