On January 5th of this year, in the Friday Foursight newsletter edition No. 8, I told you my word for this year.
Reinforcement.
I had said:
I want to reinforce my habits that positively serve me towards becoming the man I am aiming to be / God wants me to be.
On the other hand, I want to eliminate those habits that don’t serve that mission.
I’ve certainly gotten what I prayed for.
It’s been an internal war, in a good way, but I feel God actively pruning my heart of any deeply hidden fears. It’s as though I’m a blueberry bush and God is the farmer that is pruning me as He sees fit.
Psalm 51:10 — “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.”
If nothing changes, nothing will change.
So, if you… me… or anyone sets a goal, the process to get us there wasn’t meant for us to stay the same.
Embrace the changes. Find your seat of comfort in the chaos.
