Growth Notes

Hello, amazing people!

Welcome to the revamped Daily Dap, now delivered through beehiiv.

I've moved from Substack to align with my vision for this newsletter's future. beehiiv offers the tools I need to elevate your experience, and I’m excited to bring you more value, inspiration, and goodness!

For you, nothing changes—you’ll still get my writing, neatly packaged and delivered. If it lands successfully in your inbox, we’re golden!

Today, I want to share two things:

1. Giving More Than You Take

I first heard this concept from Gary Vaynerchuk, who said he wants to be remembered as someone who gave more than he took.

That resonates deeply with me.

The ultimate example? Jesus Christ. During this Passover season, we’re reminded of His selfless act—giving His life to redeem us. It’s the greatest gift of all. Period.

But how can we embody this in our individual lives? By consistently offering more value than others expect. Whether in relationships, work, or small daily acts, giving generously without expectation of getting anything in return creates a ripple effect of the goodesttttt of good wills.

Be known as the giver.

2. The Power of Consistency

Consistency amplifies giving. I recently completed my first paid social media collab. The partner surprised me by overcompensating for the gig, which inspired me to overdeliver in return. This mutual generosity set a strong foundation for our partnership.

That’s the key: give more than you take, and do it consistently.

The laws of the universe that God setup rewards this approach—love, opportunities, and blessings flow back to you, often in unexpected ways.

The one who gives the most actually ends up receiving the most. Isn’t that interesting?

Here’s to living generously and doing it consistently.

Thank you for being part of this journey!

God bless,

Anthony

"Compete with yourself and root for everybody else." — Candice Millard

“Give me a lever long enough and a place to stand, and I will move the earth.” —Archimedes

This was a recent speech I gave to a university class — thanks to my girlfriend for inviting me to join in on this.

I will always advocate for showing your work to others, in order to prove your value for a potential project, job opportunity, business deal, freelance contract, etc.

The best way to do that is to put your work online. The internet is readily available to you to do so! In going the untraditional route and taking a not-so-average path my entire life, I have experienced what it takes to separate yourself from the noise in a world full of loadddsss of information.

If you want an opportunity, show what value you provide by providing a showcase of what you can do / what you would do if given the specific opportunity you are seeking out.

Question

Why aren’t you creating content online in the greatest age of leverage IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD?
