Growth Notes
Hello, my friends,
Greetings from the sunny state of Florida, where the rays are bright and the vibes are immaculate!
I’m thrilled to share a recent epiphany that’s transformed my perspective on entrepreneurship.
For the past decade, I’ve been immersed in this dynamic world, often coming across the concept of sales funnels. Admittedly, their true significance eluded me—until now.
Over the past few weeks, a light bulb went off. I finally grasped what sales funnels are and, in doing so, uncovered the missteps of my past ventures.
In my earlier businesses, I was a content-creation machine. I churned out material relentlessly without pausing to refine my strategy, foster engagement, or even define a clear purpose for my audience. There was no product, no service, no end goal.
Reflecting on this, I realized I wasn’t offering anything tangible because I hadn’t yet honed the value I could provide. I was deep in the skill-building phase of my growth, prioritizing learning over building a profitable business. And you know what? That’s perfectly fine—it was exactly what I needed at the time.

That’s it.
Here’s the key takeaway: if you’re creating content online, it serves one of two purposes:
Pure enjoyment, or
Guiding potential customers through a strategic funnel that leads them to a valuable offering—one compelling enough for them to invest their hard-earned money.
So, ask yourself:
What are you selling?
What journey are you crafting for your customers?
Why should someone choose your offering?
It’s all about reverse-engineering. Don’t just create content for the sake of it, as I did with my old media company.
Instead, start with the end in mind: design a valuable, well-packaged product or service. Then, build content that authentically showcases why your audience needs it.
Here’s to learning, growing, and building smarter,
Anthony
