Growth Notes
Hi all,
I feel myself changing in business.
The strategies and actions I employ today are more refined and effective than ever before.
Experience and challenges have shaped my growth. I've learned that repeating the same actions without results is not progress—it's just activity. True progress demands adaptability and a willingness to pivot toward what works.
In the past, while running my media company, I mistook repetitive tasks for advancement. Now, I prioritize adjusting my approach to maximize impact. I've shed the weight of pride and embraced flexibility.
In the past, I also focused too much on vision and not enough on urgent, relentless action. Now, I understand it is a fine balance between vision and complimenting those dreams with practical, urgent actions. To work effectively and with swift speed, good systems are needed.
This brings me to the concept of leverage, a principle I've been exploring for years and first highlighted in my Friday Foursight newsletter (Edition No. 1, 11/17/23). Let’s break it down using the analogy of cutting down a tree:
Knife: Represents labor-intensive efforts like door-to-door sales. It’s gritty and useful for early traction but unsustainable for long-term growth.
Axe: Comparable to a skilled sales team, combining outreach and hustle for greater efficiency.
Chainsaw: Symbolizes scalable systems like online lead magnets—smooth, efficient, and designed to attract opportunities with minimal friction.
As my business knowledge has deepened, I've progressed from wielding a knife to swinging an axe, and now I operate a chainsaw. The goal is to build business machines—streamlined systems that accelerate progress toward objectives.
Key Takeaway: Work hard, but work smart. Leverage is the key to scaling success.
Feeling aligned,
Anthony

“You need long-term vision and short-term urgency. You need both. One without the other is a trap. Vision without urgency becomes fantasy. Urgency without vision becomes anxiety. But when you combine the two, and move with focused intensity in where you are going, you become unstoppable.” — Jim Rohn
“Give me a lever long enough and a place to stand, and I will move the earth.” —Archimedes

Just like I started a family TikTok page — which is growing in leverage day by day — I started an Instagram page with my girlfriend.
We talk health, wellness, good living, and spread good vibes. All of which I love and documenting it is just an extension to my current lifestyle.
Leverage comes in many forms. By experimenting with this page, and having fun with my special person while doing it, we can gain further knowledge and an edge on how to create well and win in our own way using the tried and true principles of leverage.
